VARDAR NORTHERN MICHIGAN in 2017 will be now known as VARDAR UNITED FC. The change cements the final step of the clubs mission:

“Understanding that playing sport and possessing the values inherent in sport compose responsible citizenship. VARDAR UNITED FC is convinced that the values of sporting spirit are the values of civic responsibility. Hence, sport is an extremely transformational and efficient vehicle for nurturing and preparing our youth for success on the field, in the classroom and in life”

During the past few months Ed has been working behind the scenes to better promote the clubs philosophy and brand. The phone app is a critical tool for communication and offers the club the ability to earn advertising revenue. As the club grows in membership local businesses will have the means to reach our members through advertisements on the app. The app also offers a sponsorship feature that will allow local businesses to sponsor individual athletes helping reduce pay per play.

A new shield unique to our club has been designed to represents Strength, Courage and Heart. In addition, VARDAR UNITED FC has partnered with Europe’s soccer apparel giant Lotto to create a bold new look specific to VARDAR UNITED FC. We hope to have all club members outfitted by the end of 2018.

The club would love to include our members in the process and have created a survey for you to vote on the kit you prefer. All Kits will be outfitted with Black shorts and red and gold socks except for the Hoops kit, which will have matching hoop socks (red/black black/white).
